Villager Souls is a mod for Forge 1.20.1 by MilaKoFirst made with McCreator.

It introduces new ways of villager transportation, and a new, easier way to get totems of undying!

This was rushed because it was originally made for Villager Jam 2025, but i plan to make it my main Minecraft project!

Also this is like my fifth mod so it sucks.

        NEW FEATURES:
1. Soul - Soul is a new mob that spawns when you kill it, it also spawns in Nether Wastelands.
2. Soul Bottle - Soul Bottles are used to catch souls. After you catch one, you can either revive it, or perform a ritual with it.

3. Villager Revival Block - Villager Revival Block is used to revive a villager soul. to activate it, you need to put a soul bottle with a soul in it in the first slot, and glowstone in the other one. It is also a profession block for the new "Aetherion" profession.

4. Totem Ritual Block - The only ritual block for now. To active it you need to put a soul bottle with a soul in it in the first slot, then a gold block in the second one, and finally a water bucket in the last one. After all that you need to press the "perform" button, and you will get a totem of undying. It is also a new profession block for the new "Ritualist" profession. You can't craft it, so the only way to get it is to find an new "Altarhall" structure and mine the Totem Ritual Block inside it.

5. Altarhall - The Altarhall is a structure that resembles a castle a bit. inside it you can find a villager with the new "Ritualist" profession, some loot, and the Totem Ritual Block.
6. Aetherion - Aetherion is a new profession. It's profession block is Villager Revival Block. Aetherions are dressed in white hoods.
7. Ritualist - Ritualist is a new profession. It's profession block is Totem Ritual Block. Ritualists are dressed in black hoods and they have red eyes.
8. New advancements - There are 3 new advancements. "Ghost Busters", ""Press E To Revive"", and "YOU MONSTER".
Ghost Busters is obtained by catching a soul, "Press E To Revive" is obtained by reviving a villager, and YOU MONSTER is obtained by sacrificing a soul to get a totem of undying.
